Setting

The College aims to accustom students to a model of continuous learning that they can carry forward into the work arena after they complete their university studies. That is why the spaces and services are designed to foster a clear focus on study and to promote active participation in community life.

There are both single and twin rooms, all of which are equipped with a full range of comforts. Meals are served in a large dining room. Based on fresh, genuine ingredients, all meals are well balanced and prepared to high standards, bearing witness to the College’s commitment to providing comfortable hospitality in a family atmosphere. Students have access to latest-generation washers and dryers, so can take care of their own laundry or use the on-site laundry service provided by dedicated staff. Specialising in philosophical disciplines and social and religious sciences, the Foundation’s library has over 50,000 books and an extensive collection of international newspapers and periodicals. As such it is a valuable resource designed to extend students’ study horizons in every direction. The site also includes a recently renovated gym and multimedia studios equipped with televisions and big screens. Students benefit from personalised IT services, including Wi-Fi access throughout the site and an individual Office 365 account, for the full duration of their residence at the College.

The College’s internal staff, made up mainly of teachers, educators and tutors, are always on hand to provide useful information and suggestions to help students get the most out of their learning pathways, in terms of both academic and personal development, while enjoying their time at college to the full and feeling at home away from home. The tutoring and coaching provided from the moment of admission is aimed at guiding students toward building a career based on their own individual skills, passions and personalities. Students’ interests are also promoted through the College’s participation in the Conferenza dei Collegi Universitari di Merito (CCUM), which is legally recognised by the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research, and through membership of the European University College Association (EucA).
