Festival delle Migrazioni 2022

The Migration Festival, promoted by various organizations including the Migrantes Foundation of the Italian Episcopal Conference and the Porta Aperta Association of Modena, aims to offer an in-depth and non-ideological study on the complex phenomenon of migration. The main objective is to represent the diversity and nuances of the migratory experience, challenging the rhetorical simplifications that reduce migrants to rigid categories. Through a series of events, the Festival offers spaces for knowledge, reflection, dialogue and listening to less heard voices. Activities are also planned before and after the Festival, involving numerous associations. The initiative aims to be an aware voice of civil society on the topic of migration, contributing to the public debate in a rational and constructive way. The ultimate objective is to allow migratory phenomena to question our humanity and our consciences, promoting a political agenda based on facts and the fundamental values ​​of human solidarity.
